Following texts will try to get you closer to the topic and make you easier decision      making based on complete measurement result, and to help you to easier solve quizzes on this          pages.

Theory texts in which are in detail explained topics that are important for proper decision making          based on complete measurement result:

       - complete measurement result

       - classic way of decision making on compliance of a measured quantity with specification

       - modern way of decision making on compliance of a measured quantity with specification

       - comparison of two measurands of the same type

Decision making based on measurement result should be applied in science, industry, health           service, commerce and everyday life.
For example, in industry manufactured products need to be in conformance with standards or           criteria defined by the client. Therefore, the right decision needs to be made regarding                       compliance of the product with demanded characteristics.

     Decisions are made in testing.

First, we measure a quantity and then we compare the measurement result to the value from the      specifications (so called critical value). The result of testing is the decision: complies, or  does      not comply with requirements [1]. So, testing consists of measurement and decision making.

In the process of testing, measurement result M is compared with a beforehand given value,        which is called critical value K.
